Sofia is a Grand Valley State Alumni who graduated with a BA in Psychology and Special Education who studied abroad in Darwin, Australia during her senior year. Her time in Australia helped her to embrace different educational systems. She stayed in Australia for two months, lived with a host family, and became immersed in the culture and life that Australians live. She always had a passion to travel, but never had the means until GVSU and the COST program gave her the opportunity. Darwin will always be her second home, and she gained an experience of a lifetime.
